Getting to Springbrook

Theosophical Society Retreat Centre, 2184 Springbrook Road, Springbrook, in the mountain ranges behind Queensland's Gold Coast.

Transport

Fly to Brisbane airport; airport link -> train to Robina station, Gold Coast. Fly to Gold Coast airport; cab from airport to Springbrook (see below)

Cab from Robina Station to Springbrook - group of 10 - $150 one way
Cars from Yearly Meeting by private arrangements - Saturday after lunch
Cars/cabs from Brisbane airport by private arrangement - please indicate on registration form if you need to be picked up at Brisbane airport.


Accommodation

The Theosophical Retreat Centre at Springbrook has the following restrictions - No alcohol, pets, or smoking on site.

The Centre offers the following accommodation:
Single bedroom units have bed, washbasin and window; shared bathroom in each block of four units.
BYO sheets, pillowslips and towels
Camping available for limited numbers of tents and caravans on site

Springbrook National Park camping 5km away $5.45pp/night or $21.80/family/night, free electric barbecues
Hotel, motel and rental accommodation nearby -check the Internet and book early!

Catering

Our cook will provide three delicious meals a day - vegetarian food only. Some special diets can be catered for, but please advise when registering! No access to the kitchen or freezer is available. All food on site to be vegetarian.

Costs

  • $65 per night or $390 per week includes food and single room accommodation
  • $45 per night or $240 per week includes food and camping accommodation
  • $20 per night or $120 per week for camping (tent or caravan) accommodation only
  • $20 per day for day visits plus $7 for lunch $8 for dinner - bookings essential

Onsite accommodation is limited - preference will be given to those who are staying for the full gathering.
